Senior Speech Therapist

Thivya Dharshini

Thivya is passionate about supporting preschool and school-aged children in building the communication and literacy skills they need to thrive both academically and socially.

As a speech and language therapist working with children in Singapore, she believes that children achieve the best outcomes when therapy is meaningful, engaging, and tailored to their individual strengths and needs.

Her professional journey began in special education, where she worked closely with children with diverse learning and developmental needs. This experience sparked a deeper interest in communication development and motivated her to further her studies by pursuing a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology in Australia.

During her training and clinical work in Australia, she gained broad experience working with both pediatric and adult populations across hospital, community, and educational settings.

Her current clinical focus is primarily within the pediatric population, with a special interest in school readiness, speech and language development, and literacy-based goals. She has experience supporting children with a range of speech, language, and learning needs, helping them develop the foundational skills required for successful participation in the classroom and everyday communication.

She is committed to delivering evidence-based and family-centred intervention in a supportive and encouraging environment. By working closely with families, educators, and other professionals, she aims to empower children with the confidence and skills to become effective communicators and independent learners.
