Natalie is an AHPC-registered Speech-Language Pathologist with over a decade of experience working across clinic-based, school-based and home-based settings in Singapore and the United States.
She holds a Master of Science in Speech, Language & Learning from Northwestern University in the United States. She also holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), a professional credential awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Natalie believes that every child wants to communicate and engage with the world around them. Sometimes, they may struggle to do so or communicate in ways that are less immediately recognised by others. Through child-led play, Natalie focuses on functional communication, helping children build their speech and language skills while discovering the connection between communication and meaningful engagement with the people and world around them.
Over the course of her career, Natalie has worked with clients across the lifespan, from medically fragile infants and young children in Early Intervention programmes to school-aged children and older adults. Her clinical experience includes speech sound disorders and apraxia, language delays, fluency disorders, social communication difficulties, aphasia and motor speech disorders, as well as working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), global developmental delay and behavioural challenges.
While her experience spans a broad range of ages and communication needs, Natalie's passion remains in paediatrics, particularly working with preschool and school-aged children.
Outside of work, Natalie enjoys films and audiobooks, immersive experiences like scavenger hunts, and an unreasonable amount of musical theatre.
