
Yu Jie graduated with honours in Occupational Therapy from the Singapore Institute of Technology and is a fully registered Occupational Therapist and Clinical Supervisor under the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) Singapore.
She brings 5 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents aged 2 to 18 across a wide range of settings, including clinics, homes, classrooms, and school-based programs. Her paediatric caseload has spanned mild to severe Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, genetic conditions, and multiple disabilities.
She also holds a Diploma in Child Psychology & Early Education, equipping her to support teachers with classroom management, resource adaptation, and group strategies that enhance children's learning environments based on their unique strengths.
Yu Jie is certified and experienced in Sensory Integration Therapy, DIR Floortime, trauma-sensitive practice, and supporting children with dyspraxia. Her scope of practice includes building life skills, emotional regulation, and behaviour management, along with environmental adaptations for classroom and home, prescription of assistive devices and mobility aids, physical rehabilitation, and handwriting intervention.
Beyond direct therapy, Yu Jie is passionate about empowering families, coaching parents on functional strategies, parenting skills, and strengthening family relationships.
Outside of work, Yu Jie enjoys traveling with family and friends, playing golf, and unwinding with a good mystery novel.
