Jovinia holds a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice and a Bachelor of Applied Sciences from La Trobe University (Australia).
She is an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist supporting children and young people aged 3 to 22 years across private therapy and special education settings.
Jovinia specialises in helping children and adolescents develop the foundational skills needed for independence including emotional regulation, sensory processing, motor coordination, executive functioning, self-care skills, and school readiness. She supports individuals with a wide range of developmental needs, focusing on practical, functional outcomes that translate into meaningful improvements at home, in school, and within the community.
She has a particular interest in working with preschool and school-aged children who experience challenges with attention, organisation, task initiation, frustration tolerance, and managing increasing academic and daily life demands. Jovinia understands how overwhelming these challenges can feel for both children and parents. Her sessions are structured, engaging, and goal-directed, breaking complex tasks into achievable steps while equipping children with personalised strategies that promote confidence, resilience, and long-term success.
Jovinia takes a warm, strengths-based and collaborative approach, partnering closely with families to ensure therapy goals are relevant, sustainable, and aligned with each child’s unique strengths. She is fluent in English and Mandarin and is passionate about empowering every child to participate meaningfully and confidently in their everyday world.
