
Wei Hee is a Developmental Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Child Development from University College London (UCL), United Kingdom, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northumbria University, United Kingdom.
She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults who experience challenges affecting their social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioural development. Throughout her career, she has collaborated closely with parents, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals to provide comprehensive and individualized support that promotes meaningful developmental progress and overall well-being.
Wei Hee works with individuals presenting with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental delays, learning difficulties, attention-related challenges, and behavioural, social, and emotional concerns. She adopts a strengths-based, child-centred approach, tailoring interventions to each individual’s unique profile while fostering confidence, resilience, and independence.
In addition to direct therapeutic intervention, Wei Hee provides parenting coaching and consultation, supporting parents and caregivers in understanding their child’s developmental needs, strengthening parent-child relationships, and implementing practical strategies to manage everyday challenges effectively. She believes that empowering families is an essential part of achieving positive and sustainable outcomes for children.
Wei Hee is also experienced in conducting developmental and autism assessments. She is trained in the administration of standardized autism assessment tools, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), and contributes to multidisciplinary evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Through comprehensive assessments, she helps families gain a deeper understanding of their child’s strengths, challenges, and support needs, enabling informed decision-making and individualized intervention planning.
