Cheong Ling Lee

Ling Lee is a registered Clinical Psychologist under the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC) and Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (MSCP).

She holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from Taylor’s University and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Psychology from the International Medical University (IMU).

Ling Lee has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of mental health challenges. Her clinical work includes conducting psychological assessments and providing psychotherapy for neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., autism and ADHD), mood and anxiety disorders, emotional regulation difficulties, personality disorders, and interpersonal or relationship issues.

Believing in the inherent potential for positive change in each individual, she emphasizes the influential role of family in shaping one’s worldview and interpersonal dynamics. She highlights the importance of understanding emotional dynamics within the family system as a vital step toward building connection, resilience, and growth. Her commitment lies in cultivating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that promotes self-discovery and empowers both children and adults to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and strength.

In her clinical practice, Ling Lee adopts an integrative therapeutic approach that draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This integrative framework allows her to tailor interventions to each client’s developmental stage and individual needs, ensuring therapy remains evidence-based, collaborative, and person-centered.

Beyond clinical work, Ling Lee is actively involved in promoting mental health awareness through workshops, talks, and professional training. She works closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support the emotional well-being of children, families, and the wider community.
